There is a certainty in my heart, that the ‘call’ of God is going throughout the earth. There is also a knowing, that not everyone who hears it will respond, for the Word says, “many are called but few are chosen.” Matt. 22:14

So we can now ask the question, why are ‘the many’ not chosen? The harvestfield is ready to be reaped, the souls of men lay in the balance, many need healing and deliverance, the captives need to be set free and the disciples of Jesus need to spread the Good News of the Kingdom of God.

Jesus told a parable of a king who had a great wedding feast for his son. His servants went out with the invitations to the guests. These guests however had many excuses and did not turn up to the feast. This forced the king to send his servants into the streets to invite everyone - both good and bad to come to the feast. However, when the guests arrived, there was one who was not dressed in the proper wedding garment. He was thrown out of the banquet hall!

Why are the many not responding to the call when the call is going forth on so many platforms? Many are hearing, but the pride of life, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, deceive men in thinking that they have more time to say yes, that they can come to God on their own terms and in their own ill-conceived ways.
