Formidable challenges are not new to the human race,  they come to either make or break us. How we face our  challenges will determine our success and upward  mobility in life or our dismal failure. The Bible shows us the way how we can face our  challenges and come out on the side of victory. Many preachers have coined this phrase, “what to do  when you don’t know what to do.”

Well, King Jehoshaphat faced a big challenge. A combined  army came against his nation, threatening to destroy the  temple and city. This is what they did. “The people of  Judah came together to seek help from the Lord; indeed  they came from every town in Judah to seek him.” 2  Chron. 20:4 When we can come together when we are in desperate  situations, is a vital key that we must use to open locked  doors. The enemy loves to separate us from each other,  using the method of isolation, telling us lies about each other why we can’t be united.

But when we defy the Devil  and come together, and cry out to God, He hears and He  answers speedily.  The Spirit of the Lord came upon Jaheziel, son of  Zechariah...a Levite and descendant of Asaph...He said,  “Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and  Jerusalem. This is what the Lord says to you: Do not be  afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the  battle is not yours, but God’s!” 2 Chron. 20:14-15 Don’t be afraid to present your challenges to God. He  knows them, but He awaits your coming, He wants to  hear your voice.

You can begin with adoration, then remind God of His  promises, remind Him of what He has done for you before  and let Him know that you are anticipating His present  answer to your present situation, and end with  thanksgiving, even before the situation changes. “I called unto the Lord and He heard me, and delivered  me from all my distress.”

You too will have this testimony, and our Lord will  receive the glory and the praise. Your cry, will not fall on  deaf ears, God hears and He answers prayers. Be blessed!
