THE BISHOP'S MESSAGE

"OPERATION MOBILIZATION"

NOVEMBER 26, 2023

1_edited.jpg

Motivation, mobilization, penetration, infiltration and saturation - these are not mere words, but these are strategies that we have used and are still using to influence our community and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our nation. Let us be fully aware that the enemy seeks to use psychological warfare to defeat God’s work in us. We cannot be ignorant of his devices, as forewarned to us by the Apostle Paul in Eph. 6:12, “For we wrestle not against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Therefore we must learn spiritual warfare and how to subject these dark forces through the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.

The Nehemiah principle was, work, warfare and worship. In this way, Nehemiah rebuilt the wall around his city in a short space of time, confounding his enemies, who wanted to see his bold plan of restoration crumble. We must now, know that there is a present danger, but we are not left defenseless. We are the greatest threat to Satan’s kingdom, because we have been endowed with spiritual weapons and we are strategic to the plan and purposes of God, in defeating him.

So Abraham raised up three hundred and eighteen men in his own household and with these he fought and defeated five kings and their armies, and Gideon, who had mustered thirty-two thousand men, was told to send back, thirty-one thousand seven hundred leaving only three hundred to fight the battle. Throughout the Bible God used the most unlikely ones among us to do great things, so the world can see that the glory belongs to God and God alone. Consider then, the ones that came to David in the cave of Adullam, when he was running for his life from King Saul, “All those who were in distress, or in debt or discontented gathered around him (David) and he became their leader. About 400 men were with him.” 1 Sam. 22:2

David trained them and they became a united army, who was fearless, loyal, skilled, all in the process of making David king over all Israel. From this grouping we have come to know about David’s mighty men, the ones who performed supernatural feats against their adversaries. You and I have been selected by God to be trained, certified and deployed to do great things for God. We must not be missing action, but be ready to answer the call and be engaged under the Lord’s banner. Can we hear the call, “Who will go for us”, and will your answer be, yes?
